Preston Hire will discuss the relevant licenses with you to ensure correct work practices are being met.
Do you provide training (operation familiarisation)?
Whilst Preston Hire is not a registered RTO, we will gladly provide operator familiarisation sessions around the machine’s core functions of our equipment to ensure you understand how to use each model. Additionally, our units have a QR Code on every machine with information, servicing, spec guides, and operating manuals.
What safety requirements are needed to operate these machines?
Standard safety practices are required including safety harness
How will the machine be transported to me?
Preston Hire will arrange delivery of your equipment using either our Preston Hire tilt tray truck or utilising the services of one of our trusted external transport contractors.
What power source is used for these machines – diesel/battery/240v?
The power source differs between which type of unit you are using. Your Preston Hire Sales representative will advise you of these details specific to your order upon request.
Can you provide labour to operate your machines?
Yes, we will gladly help to provide labour. We have licensed operators to meet your requirements.
Do your machines have AED (Anti crush devices)?
The majority of our fleet are fitted with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) endorsed Anti Entrapment Devices (AED). AED machines can be requested at time of booking.
