[NEWS] Preston Hire was thrilled to join in the fun at the Special Children’s Christmas Party!

In December 2023, Preston Hire had the privilege of being a major sponsor for the Special Children’s Christmas Party in Brisbane. 

With multiple parties held nation-wide, the event is Australia’s largest Christmas Party for children with disabilities and complex needs and has been running for more than 25 years. Children are treated to plenty of delicious food and a day of fun activities, including rides, interactive games, and the opportunity to enter Santa’s Toy Room where they are gifted three new toys. 

We were delighted to draw a lot of attention to our stand. A big attraction was our SANY excavator, which children were invited to have their picture taken sitting in their Preston Hire hard hat & hi-vis vest. The great excitement generated by our machine meant we had a long queue all day and we were thrilled to see the joy this unique opportunity brought the kids. Along with their polaroid printout, children were given a hi-vis vest, hard hat, and a lolly bag. Before long, there was a sea of hi-vis vests and hard hats in the crowd. Our stand also sparked interest from other event sponsors, and we enjoyed the networking opportunities afforded.  

But the biggest highlight of the event for Preston Hire was witnessing the joy of the children and their families. Bringing more smiles, joy, and memories is what it’s all about and we were privileged to be a part of this event and look forward to what the future will bring.
