Celebrating 10 Years of Dedication: James Hawe’s Journey with Preston Hire
A huge congratulations to James Hawe from our Victoria branch, who this month celebrates an impressive 10 years of service with Preston Hire!
James began his journey with us in October 2014 as a Truck Driver, ensuring the timely delivery of our equipment to sites across Victoria. Over the years, his adaptability and strong work ethic have seen him grow into a Rigger and, eventually, a skilled Crane Operator. His versatility in handling different roles highlights his commitment to the company’s evolving needs.
Over the past decade, James has not only witnessed but contributed to Preston Hire’s steady growth—from the expansion of our hire fleet to our increased national presence. Reflecting our “Count on us” creed, James has always been someone his colleagues can rely on. “I believe I would be best described as someone that my team members would count on to call if they ever needed help with anything,” James shares.
His daily responsibilities are as dynamic as his career. From pre-hiring and delivering products to providing wet hire crane services on major infrastructure projects, James approaches each task with the same level of commitment and enthusiasm that he’s shown since day one. Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his family, camping, and relaxing on fishing trips.
Looking ahead, James is eager to continue his journey with Preston Hire. “Hopefully, another 10 more years,” he says, ready for more challenges and growth.
